Guild Committees & Workgroups
The Guild's committees and workgroups do important work to sustain the organization, and keep our members informed. Any member is welcome and encouraged to participate in any group, except the Industry Committee, which is limited to Industry Partners. Each group meets at least quarterly.
Social Equity & EducationThe Social Equity & Education Committee was established to provide resources for community outreach and help create a plan to support inclusion, diversity, and equity in our local cannabis industry. |
MarketingThe Marketing & Communications Workgroup drives the WMCG's social media, newsletters, and media engagement. We organize events, work with sponsors, and help support other industry events and activities. |
Industry CommitteeThe Industry Committee guides the Guild's Board on ways to be responsive to the needs of the local cannabis industry. Quarterly meetings provide an opportunity for businesses working in and with the cannabis industry to connect. Membership is limited to Industry Partners only. |
Policy & EndorsementsThe Policy & Endorsements Workgroup sets policy priorities for the WMCG and provides valuable resources for our members to act on them. They do the important work of keeping the Current Issues page on our website up-to-date and help to advise our political advocacy activities and endorsements. |
