Board President

Landon Bartley is an urban planning and land use consultant with a strong focus on the cannabis industry. He was previously senior city planner for the City of Grand Rapids, and implemented the City's new medical cannabis program in that role.

As president, Landon has focused on growing the Guild's membership by introducing new levels and benefits for individuals and industry partners. After a series of discussions, surveys, and interviews with Guild stakeholders in 2022, he has focused efforts in 2023 on creating new events and series designed to respond to the unique difficulties facing the industry right now.

These include monthly networking meetups around the region, discussion panels like Stoners In Suits and fun workshops like St. Pottrick's Day. He's particularly excited for the West's Best Blazer Express 4/20 bus (which will safely deliver hundreds of happy cannabis tourists to stores and holiday events across West Michigan), Lebowski Day in July, and the Green Tie Gala in late September.
